Why Did Brooklyn Beckham & Lexi Wood Break Up?
Brooklyn Beckham and Lexi Wood started dating in 2018 after Beckham’s split from Chloe Grace Moretz. The two were reportedly together for a year and split sometime in 2019. There are no reports about the reason they broke up, as the two kept the relationship pretty private.
Despite that, Wood recently spoke about her experience with the Beckhams while appearing on an episode of Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast.
“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to,” Wood said. “Like, families that are in the industry that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like, that are so close, travel together, live together. They do so much together.”
Wood, who also dated Presley Gerber, Rande Gerber, and Cindy Crawford’s son, explained that the Gerbers and the Beckhams were similar in that their mindset was “your family has your back, period.”
“I do feel like those families are great,” she said.
The Bravo star, a cast member of Summer House, was also very supportive of Beckham’s relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. “Brooklyn is in a great relationship, and I’m so happy for him,” she said. “I’m the type of ex that I’m actually friends with a lot of my exes and I want them to move on.”
Brooklyn Beckham recently spoke about the issues with his family, revealing that not only is the family in the middle of a feud, but he also has no intention of patching things up. “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he said, and added, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
He also said, “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly taking his comments hard. According to Rob Shuter, the whole family is shocked. “They’ve never seen him this angry or public before,” a source told the gossip columnist. “David and Victoria are stunned. They’re trying to figure out how to protect their family name while respecting his boundaries, but honestly, they feel completely blindsided.”
