With the 2026 Grammys slowly approaching, many Swifties are keeping a close eye on whether Taylor Swift will make an appearance or not.

The “Ophelia” artist has been a fixture on red carpets no matter where she goes. Despite garnering six nominations for her work on The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift didn’t win any awards during the 2025 Grammys. However, she presented the award for Best Country Album to Beyoncé in a historic moment as the first Black woman to win in a country category.

Is Taylor Swift going to the Grammys?

It looks like Taylor Swift won’t be attending the Grammys. Hits previously reported a rumor that Grammy producers were trying to recruit The Life of a Showgirl singer for a performance. However, Grammy producer Ben Winston set the record straight with the publication. “The only reason people think Taylor might be performing or coming is because Hits decided to print it this week and put it in their Hits List, and it was picked up globally,” he said. “But Hits just totally made that up. And now I am getting asked about it by you, as if it’s a real thing, when it was made up in your office! That really is a full-circle rumor!”

Taylor Swift isn’t nominated for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards since her recent album The Life of a Showgirl did not fall under the eligibility period. However, it is eligible for the 2027 awards. Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, Leon Thomas, and the Marías will perform at the ceremony. Winston also confirmed that Bad Bunny will be attending the event despite his busy schedule for his Super Bowl halftime show.

Sources close to the star say that she’s planning to keep a low profile in light of Blake Lively’s legal battle against Justin Baldoni. A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Taylor’s happy, grounded, and fully focused on her life with Travis. Right now, she’s prioritizing everything positive and exciting happening in her life.”
