‘Livid’ Victoria Reportedly Holding ‘Grudge’ Against Spice Girl Member for Allegedly Taking a Side in Brooklyn Feud
For Victoria Beckham, the recent drama surrounding her family has reportedly hit hard. It all started after her oldest son, Brooklyn, went public about the reasons for his issues with his parents. Among them were allegations that David and Victoria were controlling, that they were trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife Nicola, and also that this mother danced inappropriately with him at his wedding.
Since then, it feels like everyone has taken sides. And if there are people we expected to be on Victoria’s side, it’s the Spice Girls. That is, after all, how Victoria became famous. And there have been many recent reports about a possible reunion tour, with Victoria apparently the last holdout. But now, Rob Shuter is reporting that Victoria Beckham is mad at one of her former bandmates.

According to the journalist, recent comments Mel C made about how she parents “very differently” as she discussed her decision to raise her daughter away from the spotlight were taken to heart by Posh. “Obviously, I have friends who handle it very differently, each to their own, no judgment at all,” Mel C said. “But for me, probably because of my experiences with fame, I didn’t feel comfortable making that decision for her.”
“What Mel said may be true,” one insider told Shuter, “but it absolutely did not need to be said right now.” And Victoria took it to heart. “Victoria took it as judgment — public judgment — during one of the most painful moments of her life,” a source reveals. “She is livid.”
And according to sources, she’s unlikely to move past it easily. “Victoria holds grudges,” another insider says. “This didn’t just hurt her personally — it embarrassed her professionally.”
Which will likely end up affecting a possible reunion. “This just made everything worse,” a source said. “Any hope of a reunion tour is basically frozen.”
Ironically, sources say Mel C wasn’t trying to throw shade. “Her intentions weren’t malicious,” one source explained. “But intention doesn’t matter when the impact is this explosive.”
And Victoria’s feelings are clearly hurt. “She feels Mel chose honesty over loyalty,” another insider added. “And that’s not something Victoria lets go of easily.”
This all comes after Rob Shuter himself had previously reported the Spice Girls were firmly on Victoria’s side. “The girls are fully behind Victoria,” a source close to the band had told him. “They hate seeing her hurt, and they think this could finally change her mind about performing again.”
But even then, the reports were that this was more than that for the Spice Girls. “The girls just want Victoria to know she’s not alone,” a music industry insider said. “This is sisterhood in sequins.”
Victoria and David are reportedly taking Brooklyn’s words to heart. Shuter previously said that, “David and Victoria are stunned. They’re trying to figure out how to protect their family name while respecting his boundaries, but honestly, they feel completely blindsided.”
“Victoria has been crying almost every hour since Brooklyn’s statement dropped,” one insider told him. “She’s walking around in shock, unable to believe her son would speak to the world this way.”
