Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Feels ‘Mostly Unhelpful’ in Her Mom’s Abduction Case as Officials Claim Her Pacemaker Issues Could Have ‘Fatal’ Consequences
Savannah Guthrie‘s husband, Michael Feldman, broke his silence on his mother-in-law’s disappearance.
In a statement to Page Six, Feldman said that he didn’t have “anything new to report” in the case of finding her mother Nancy. He later added that he’s “just being responsive” but feels “mostly unhelpful” in the situation. Feldman expressed appreciation for the media’s “thoughtfulness.”
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department believes that the 84-year-old “was taken from the home” after she was reported missing on Feb. 1, 2025. She was last seen on Saturday, Jan. 31, at her residence in Tucson, Ariz. Family went to her residence the day after, and they were alerted that she had failed to show up to church that morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The Los Angeles Times reported that a source disclosed that there was blood found at the crime scene. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos also noted that Nancy has limited mobility and “couldn’t walk 50 yards by herself.” He said to NBC News on Monday, “Just call us. Let her go. Just call us. The family will tell you, there’s no questions asked here.”
RadarOnline reported that Nancy’s pacemaker stopped syncing with her watch around 2 am on Sunday, and the data from the Apple Watch offers a possible time Nancy may have been abducted from her home.
Nanos also revealed that if Nancy doesn’t take the necessary medication within 24 hours, the result “could be fatal.” “So we make a plea to anyone that knows anything about this, who has seen something, heard something, to contact us. Call 911,” he said. “Right now, we don’t see this as a search mission, as much as we do a crime scene.”
