The Truth to Rumors Katy Perry Is Already Pregnant With Justin Trudeau’s Baby: ‘Everyone Wants Them to Have Children’
Ever since Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were first seen together, there has been a fascination with their relationship. Part of that is easy to understand; a big pop star and a big-name politician isn’t the kind of couple we usually see, so it’s a novelty. It’s also the kind of public romance people get easily invested in, particularly when things are going as well as they apparently are for the couple.
In fact, new reports indicate the relationship is so good that people around them want them to take the next step. Already? Yes, already. “Justin and Katy’s relationship is going great. Nobody actually believed it was ever going to be a thing, and now that it is, everyone wants them to get married and have children,” a source told the Daily Mail. “There have been rumors recently that Katy is pregnant, but she is not. She’s not against it, but they are just in a euphoric honeymoon phase and enjoying life together with the children they already have from their previous relationships.”

Previous reports also indicated the relationship between Perry and Trudeau was going pretty well. In fact, the National Enquirer reported months ago that their kids had already met. The two are “crazy about each other,” an insider claimed, adding, “This isn’t a fling.”
“Katy’s daughter, Daisy, has spent time around Justin. And his three kids — Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien — have met Katy,” a source said. “It was warm. It was easy. The kids clicked instantly.”
And Heat World UK had also previously reported that the two were thinking long-term. “Katy’s ready to go all in right now with him. They’re even talking about having a child together. Justin is very clear that he wants to build a life with her and there’s no one he’d rather be with. When Katy first started seeing Justin, everyone assumed it would just be rebound fling, but it’s much more than that. She says it feels like destiny that they met.”
“Katy’s made no secret of wanting at least one other child and Justin’s the perfect fit for where she’s at in life right now,” the outlet also reported. “She doesn’t have time to waste – she’s in her forties now and she’s not interested in playing the field. It’s moving fast, but she’s happy with that – as is he. Katy has always been someone who goes all in on love. Once she feels it, she tends to move fast.”
And even from the beginning, it seemed like they worked out what they wanted out of the relationship pretty early on. Page Six reported last year that the two understood how public their relationship would be. “They’re cognizant about not going overboard. It’s not fake. Justin Trudeau – like him or don’t like him – Canadians are wonderful people. It’s for real. In today’s market having two people that have their feet in a political mess, it really complicates relationships,” a music insider said. “They’re sensitive.”
Perry announced her split from ex-fiancé, Bloom, in July 2025. Soon after, she was seen having dinner with Trudeau, with the two going public just a few months after. At this point, they’ve already gone Instagram official and appeared together at multiple events.
