With the arrest of the former prince Andrew, there’s been a lot of speculation about what comes next and who else will be affected by the fallout. And the person who stands to lose the most is Andrew’s ex, Sarah Ferguson, who was also close to Epstein herself. But has she been questioned about the Andrew investigation? And where is she these days?
Reports indicated that Ferguson had checked into a luxury wellness clinic in Switzerland early in January. Now, however, is reportedly Donegal, Ireland at the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, according to the Daily Mail.

Ferguson and Andrew were forced to vacate their home at Royal Lodge and saw their titles stripped when the first reports of how deep their ties to Epstein ran were revealed this year. Since then, though, things have gone from bad to worse, with People reporting that she plans to spend a few months overseas. But does that mean she’ll be arrested?
Simarjot Singh Judge, managing partner at Judge Law, told Fox News that there was no reason to believe she could not return to the UK. “If there is no arrest warrant, bail condition, or active requirement to attend an interview, the most likely ‘first thing’ is simply that nothing happens at the border beyond standard entry checks,” he explained.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told the outlet that authorities will be interested in speaking with Ferguson. “While I’m not a lawyer, most legal analysts believe upon her return to the U.K., it would be highly likely she’d be contacted and interviewed as a key relevant witness by either prosecutors or police, but currently there isn’t any arrest warrant and to date she has not been referred to as a suspect,” Fordwich said. “This though, as we saw with both Andrew and Mandelson, could change at any minute.”
Days after Andrew’s arrest, former U.K. Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson was also arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office regarding information shared with Jeffrey Epstein.
“She is not a working royal, doesn’t have HRH status or indeed any formal royal role,” Fordwich said. “She doesn’t have sovereign immunity or any institutional cover.”
“The family has already distanced themselves from her, likewise her former friends and charities,” she added. “Mere association with her currently is viewed as totally unacceptable.”
Some people believe there’s no way she can avoid the same fate that befell Andrew and Mandelson. A source told Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice” Substack that Fergie is effectively hiding at this point. “She has gone into the fire,” the insider said. “This isn’t a holiday. It’s survival. She will be arrested next if she returns to the UK.” The source continued, “It’s only a matter of time — it’s inevitable.”
Andrew was arrested on February 19 and police have conducted searches in multiple properties related to him. He is being investigated for misconduct in public office for his correspondence with Epstein, who he reportedly provided with classified information.
