Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are practically inseparable. While the podcast host wasn’t hand-in-hand with the Frozen star at the Actor Awards red carpet, he did support her through her hosting responsibilities.
Dax Shepard appeared backstage with his wife alongside their two daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9, but skipped the red carpet due to colonoscopy prep. “In case you were wondering what I was doing when I wasn’t on stage last night,” Kristen wrote on Instagram with a montage of photos of the family behind the scenes. “Not for one moment do think I could do this job on my own.”
“Never underestimate your tribe,” the Veronica Mars star continued. “The goals you’ve set, the dreams you’re chasing — none of it happens in isolation. The people in your corner aren’t a bonus. They’re the foundation.”
She also made a shout out to her husband. “Thank you @daxshepard for being so continuously supportive and present. You have never not been there to help calm my nervous system when it’s crunch time. Our family unit gives me the fuel to be creative and perform and entertain, which I so love to do. I am thankful for the space I can take up, and will always make the same room for all three of you when you need it. ❤️”

Bell and Shepard started dating in 2007. They married after same-sex marriage was legalized in the United States back in 2013. Recently, they’ve been the subject of divorce rumors because of inappropriate comments they made about each other.
Some friends of the couple told Heat World: “Kristen and Dax are one of those couples where, especially when you visit them at their home; they just have no problem letting it all hang out. This makes them more approachable, especially when they’re spending time with their many non-famous friends, but the big downside is that they don’t really hide their bickering and silly, relentless arguments from anybody.”
“It’s on full display, all the time, and it can be uncomfortable,” the source continued. “Nobody understands why they seem to get off on the awkwardness of it all, but it can be painful to see them openly fight, and even take half-joking cheap shots at one another,” the insider added about their “insensitive” and “tone-deaf” behavior. “Friends get that they hate pretending and just want to be themselves when they’re at home but it’s still a textbook form of “oversharing”, and it’s not for everybody.”
However, with their public display of affection in full view, it’s safe to say that there isn’t that much trouble in paradise.
