Everyone wants to know about the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding. In many ways, this is as close to a royal wedding as a lot of people will experience. And with news that Kelce will be returning for a 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs next year, the timeframe in which the two could conceivably get married has gotten smaller. So, where does that leave us?

According to ESPN’s Chiefs insider Nate Taylor with a wedding very soon. That’s right, Taylor is reporting the two will get married “before training camp.” There are no set dates for training camp yet, but last year the Chiefs camp started July 22. So, sooner rather than later.

During a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kelce said that Swift‘s support was one of the things that inspired him to return to the Chiefs.”We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” Kelce said of Swift. “It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does,” he explained.

“Of course that’s motivating. That’s motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée, knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me. Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done, either.’ I’ve still got some ideas in the back of my mind and still got some juice left to play this game.”

Kelce signed a one-year contract with the Chiefs for $12 million with a maximum value of $15 million, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

On the Wednesday, March 11, episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce revealed that he knew he’d be coming back to the Chiefs midway through the last season.

“I think I was taking Jason Kelce’s advice,” Travis said about the fact that he took so long to confirm the news. “I was taking the advice to take a step back, because you gotta let the emotions clear and you gotta have a clear head. I’ve made decisions based on emotions and they haven’t always played out the right way. So I think taking a step back, letting the emotions settle down, the frustrations from the season — of course I want to come back. Of course I don’t want to end my career not making the playoffs, not having one of the best years.”

Last year, the Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014. “Obviously there’s still a little bit of that grit and that emotion, you know, I f***ing hated the way that s*** ended last year,” Kelce added. “I want to make it right. And I want to get a chance at another f***ing Super Bowl.”

Alongside a date for the wedding, we already know of two celebrity guests: Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert are expected to be invited. And perhaps Graham Norton? Swift hinted Norton would be invited after the host asked her for more details on the wedding when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show. “You’ll know,” she said.

We probably will too, sooner rather than later.
