Nicole Kidman Wears Revenge Dress at Oscars Amid Reports Keith Urban Is ‘Desperate’ to Win His Family Back After Their Divorce

From Princess Diana to Mariah Carey, Hollywood is no stranger to the concept of the “revenge dress” and Nicole Kidman may have added to that list at the 2026 Oscars.
Kidman, who’s a presenter at the 98th Academy Awards, attended the awards show solo on Sunday, March 15, in a powder-pink silk custom Chanel dress by Matthieu Blazy. The look featured a bustier embroidered with white and gray crystals and black beads, and a peplum waist made of beige, pink, nude, and apricot feathers that flowed into a skirt.
The awards show marked Kidman’s first Oscars since she finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Keith Urban, after 19 years of marriage. She filed for divorce from Urban in September 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. Kidman and Urban last attended the Oscars together in 2023, where they looked in love as Urban nuzzled up to his then-wife on the red carpet.
Kidman’s appearance at the Oscars also comes after a source told RadarOnline in March that Urban—who shares daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with Kidman—was “desperate” to win back his family.
“Keith’s tour has kept him apart from the girls a lot more than he would like. As it is, he had to concede the majority of custody time to Nicole,” the insider said. “According to their divorce agreement, he only has Sunday Rose and Faith every other weekend, but when he’s touring, even that doesn’t work.”
The source continued, “They’re used to long stretches away from Keith, who’s always been a working musician, but it’s tough. Keith is anxious to line up this trip with a break in the girls’ school schedule, so they can spend proper, relaxed time together.”
The insider even claimed that Urban wants Kidman to join him on his trips with their daughter, but that’s “not likely” to happen. “They love the Bahamas, so that’s likely where they’ll go. He’d love for Nicole to join them, but she’s still very hurt, so he’s had to accept that’s not likely,” the insider said.
According to court documents obtained by People, both Kidman and Urban agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights. The documents also revealed that Kidman and Urban’s daughters will live with Kidman at their primary residence 306 days out of the year. Urban, for his part, was granted 59 days out of the year. He’s allowed to spend every other weekend with his daughters, from 10 a.m. on Saturday morning to 6 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Kidman commented on her divorce from Urban for the first time in an interview with Variety in March, in which the magazine asked the actress if she was “doing alright.” “I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” Kidman said. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.” She continued: “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
