It’s taken a while for the former prince Andrew to come close to even facing some consequences for his actions, but these days, he’s anything but the powerful royal he was a decade ago. His titles have been stripped, he had to vacate his home at Royal Lodge, and he’s reportedly been lying low at Wood Farm, on the Sandringham estate. But what is his next move amid the investigation into his connections with Epstein?

First, it looks like Andrew is moving to what will now be his permanent home at Sandringham. The U.S. Sun reported that transportation vans were seen outside Marsh Farm, which confirms Andrew’s move. According to The Mirror, three vehicles from Gander & White, a company that offers “a full range of services, including art storage, art installs, transportation, packing,” and more, were believed to be involved in the move.

Large wooden gates were recently installed in front of Marsh Farm, and The US. Sun also reported that the place has undergone a full renovation, with new carpets and flooring as well as a new coat of paint. Andrew was always meant to relocate to Marsh Farm and had only been staying at Wood Farm until the renovations were completed.

He was arrested while staying at Wood Farm, and reports indicate his previous home at Royal Lodge was among the places law enforcement raided amid the investigation into Andrew.

Previous reports had indicated the former prince was planning a move abroad. Rob Shuter, however, reported that the recent landscape in the Middle East had thrown a wrench in his plans. “Andrew has spent years building influence in the UAE,” one insider said. “Between business connections and access to private homes, it’s always been seen as the place he could run to if things in Britain became too difficult.”

King Charles released a statement right after his brother’s arrest that said, “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.”

He added, “In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”

Andrew is not the only one who seems to be looking for somewhere to hide amid the reports of the investigation into his ties to Epstein. His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has been secretly living with Priscilla Presley in the United States, according to RadarOnline. “Away from the public eye, Sarah is secretly living under Priscilla Presley‘s roof, using it as a temporary refuge while she navigates her current, and pretty sad, sofa-surfing existence,” a source said. “It’s not a permanent solution by any means – more a stopgap while she tries to figure out her next move.”

Like with Andrew, it’s a big change for Fergie. ”The contrast of this set-up with Fergie’s previous life couldn’t be more striking. She was once surrounded by the structure and visibility that came with royal status, living in grand residences and operating in the public spotlight.”

Now, they’re both trying to lay low. “Now, she’s in hiding like some kind of fugitive, moving discreetly between locations and trying to keep a low profile.”
