Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Spark Speculation They’re Quietly ‘Making Room for a Baby’ After Donna’s Telling Comment
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce haven’t even gotten married yet, and people are already speculating about the two expanding the family. Kind of on brand for public discourse about any famous couple, but also a little premature considering the two are presumably deep into planning a wedding—one that is expected to take place before the new NFL season starts.
It all started when Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason Kelce, filed permits to update her Orlando property by replacing nine windows and six exterior doors. Sounded like routine maintenance, but when you’re a Kelce, speculation follows you. Particularly since Travis and Taylor started dating.

RadarOnline even reported that speculation had jumped towards this new development meaning baby news for Travis and Taylor.
Donna Kelce shut down those rumors during her son’s New Heights podcast. ” I’m like… It’s so stupid!” she said, about the fact that this was even news. “All they’re doing is, people are coming to put in my windows on Monday. You know my whole apartment is all windows. It’s windows all the way around.”
Jason joked, “Are you going bulletproof? What’s happening here?”
His mother just laughed. “This year, it got so cold down here, it was in the 30s, and I literally had sweat coming down the windows and pools of water in my living room because it couldn’t handle it. These are cheap windows that were put in 20 years ago.”
But speculation continued. “People online are convinced this isn’t just about windows – they think Donna is quietly preparing space for Travis and Taylor to settle down and potentially start a family,” one source said. “Forums devoted to Taylor and Travis and their families are filling up with this stuff.”
Another source added, “The scale of the speculation is wild, but it shows how invested fans are. There’s a belief that this could be about making room for a baby, even if there’s no confirmation.”
During Donna Kelce’s time on the New Heights podcast, her son Jason Kelce took the time to tease her about her home. “Well, I just wanted to say, mom, they said ‘modest home’ and it just feels like you’re turning this place into a bit of a gilded palace, if I must say. “I think you’ve changed a little bit. You’ve had a taste of the good life and now all of a sudden…”
Jason and Travis even introduced the topic of their mom’s home renovations as “the most important news” of the week.
“We wanted to break this news on the show, but reports have already started to leak out,” Jason said. “Donna Kelce is remodeling her modest Florida home! Let’s give it up for Donna!”
To which Travis added, “I told her if she needed me to screw some door hinges in, I could’ve f—— done it for her.”
Probably not, though. Jason Kelce might be retired, but Travis is set to play at least one more year, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting his deal could reach $15million in value.
