Zayn Malik Reacts To Gigi Hadid & Bradley Cooper Dating
They were on and off for five years and share a daughter, but since she’s moved on, Zayn Malik’s feelings about Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper dating are… well, complicated. The couple was first linked in October 2023 and things have been progressing.
“Despite their hectic schedules, they spend as much time together as possible,” a source told Us Weekly in January 2024. “They have a lot in common and both have very funny personalities, so they have amazing chemistry.”
According to The Messenger, “Gigi was introduced to Bradley through [his ex] Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry,” a source said. “Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings. Gigi and Bradley were in touch recently, and were bonding over their daughters when Bradley asked her out.”
The source continued: “He pursued her and she was definitely interested and excited,” they said. “They have been casually seeing each other but it is extremely new. Gigi has expressed she does not want a serious relationship. They have a lot in common, and both relate to being parents in the industry. She wants to get into acting and is intrigued by Bradley’s perspective and guidance. It is very casual at this point.”
Gigi and Zayn dated on and off from November 2015 to October 2021. The couple had their baby Khai in September 2020. A source told People on October 28, 2021, that Zayn and Gigi broke up as a result of his physical fight with Gigi’s mom, Yolanda. “They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” a Hadid family friend said. “They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”

According to Us Weekly, Zayn Malik reacted to Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper dating rather negatively. “Zayn is not happy with their relationship and never will be,” the insider said, after Gigi and Bradley were photographed holding hands in January 2024 (see the pictures here).
The source added that Bradley has been “a voice of reason” for Hadid as she co-parents Khai, using his experience with amicable exes as a point of reference. “He’s sober, and his [advice] comes from his own personal experiences,” the source continued. “Bradley has warned Gigi that there’s a difference between a healthy and a toxic separation.”
As mentioned, Gigi and Zayn broke up after an altercation with Gigi’s mom Yolanda in 2021. TMZ reported that Zayn had “struck” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and she had filed a police report.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Zayn was charged with four criminal offenses of harassment against Gigi and Yolanda after he allegedly “shoved” his ex-girlfriend’s mother into a dresser and caused her “mental anguish and physical pain.” Zayn also allegedly called Yolanda a “f—king Dutch s—t” and ordered her to stay away from [my] f—ing daughter.”
The documents state that Zayn called Gigi while she was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week during the fight, where he told her to “strap on some f—ng balls and defend your partner against your f—ing mother in my house.”
Zayn pled no contest at the time, and was fined. He was ordered to complete 90 days of probation for each count, a total of 360 days. He also must complete an anger management class and a domestic violence program, as well as have no contact with Yolanda.
“I knew what the situation was, I knew what happened, and the people involved knew what happened too and that’s all I really cared about,” he said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “If anybody of a sane mind would look at the situation, I believe you could respect that I just didn’t want to bring attention to anything, y’know? I wasn’t trying to get into a negative back and forth with her.”
He added that he didn’t want his daughter Khai to look at him in a bad light. “Any sort of narrative online where my daughter was going to look back and read that and be able to read into it and it would just be something that was… There was no point,” he said.
“I believe I dealt with it in the best way. In an amicable, respectful way, and that’s all that needs to be said.” He also added, “Since I’ve had my daughter and since she was born, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her in terms of, I can do things and I can achieve things and I can overcome things and you can do this, too.”
According to this latest source quoted by Us, “Zayn’s been trying to reform himself. He doesn’t want to lose parental rights.”
