King Charles & Queen Camilla Just Responded To The Death of Pippa Middleton’s Ex
Offering their condolences. King Charles and Queen Camila responded to Thomas Kingston’s death. The husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor and son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent was found dead in Gloucestershire on February 25, 2024.
“The King and The Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in a statement. “In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thought sand prayers to Gabriella and to all the Kingston family.”
Gabriella, Kingston’s parents, and sisters said in a statement, “It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son and brother. Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing.”
Lady Gabriella and Kingston married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 18, 2019 after they became engaged on the Isle of Sark in August 2018. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry were in attendance of the wedding at the time. Kingston also had a relationship with another royal adjacent person: Pippa Middleton. He dated Kate’s sister and ended the relationship around 2011, but they remained friends.
Prince William and Lady Gabriella’s parents were in attendance at a service of Thanksgiving honoring King Constantine of Greece on February 27, 2024. The Prince of Wales dropped out of attending the service because of personal reasons. However, it was not connected to Kingston’s death.
