Planning ahead of time. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Easter plans are different than previous years. Their plans for the holiday come days after Kate Middleton announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, flew in a helicopter on March 23, 2024, to Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham Estate. The family will be spending the kids’ Easter school break at their country home where they will meet with King Charles.

In 2023, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the royal family‘s traditional Easter Sunday church service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on Easter weekend. It was the first celebration without Queen Elizabeth, after her death in 2022.

In a moving video, Kate Middleton revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer. “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

The Princess of Wales has been the subject of several conspiracy theories after her surgery. In the video, She also talked about the impact the diagnosis had on her family. “As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.”

She praised her husband William as “a great source of comfort and reassurance.” Kate added: “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”

Honoring those who have been diagnosed with cancer, including her father-in-law King Charles, Kate ended the video with a promising tone. “While I complete my treatments. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I’m able. But for now, I must focus on making a full recovery. At this time, I’m also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer, For everyone facing this disease in whatever form.”
