After the famed producer’s house was raided, court documents name-dropped Prince Harry in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sexual assault case. The Duke of Sussex’s name was mentioned but he is not a defendant, nor is he incriminated or involved in the case at all.

Producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed a lawsuit against Diddy and claimed that his “affiliation” with celebrities gave him “legitimacy.” According to Daily Mail, the court documents state that Diddy had “access to celebrities such as famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians, and international dignitaries like British Royal, Prince Harry.”

Prince Harry and Prince William met Diddy when he performed at the ‘Concert For Diana’ in 2007. The rapper sang “I’ll Be Missing You” at the benefit concert in honor of Princess Diana. However, it is not known if Prince Harry met Diddy in the time afterward, or at all.

Police swarmed the rapper’s three homes in LA and Miami. On March 25, 2024, a spokesperson for Homeland Security Investigations told TMZ: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

In 2023, Casandra Ventura, also known as R&B singer Cassie, filed a lawsuit in a New York federal court against Combs, whom she dated between 2005 and 2018. She claimed he’d been sexually and physically abusive throughout their relationship, ranging from beating Ventura and forcing her to have sex with other men, to raping her at her home in 2018. They settled the next day.

Attorney Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie Ventura and an anonymous plaintiff referred to as Jane Doe, issued this statement, per ABC7: “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”
