Travis Kelce’s Ex Accuses Taylor Swift Fans of ‘Constant Vitriol’ Amid Her New Album
Their relationship is ancient history at this point, but Travis Kelce‘s ex responded to Taylor Swift fans amid the release of The Tortured Poets Department—Swift’s latest album. Kayla Nicole and Kelce dated on and off between 2017 and 2022.
TTPD was released on April 19, 2024. The night prior, Nicole took to X to say, “I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for “yall” (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”

One follower encouraged her to “log off” to avoid negativity online, to which Nicole responded: “I made 6 real life figures from being ‘logged on’ last year. And very thankful for it. A better suggestion – people that use this platform to spew hate – log out and focus on getting their mattress off the floor.”
It comes after Nicole received some flack for tweeting that she couldn’t listen to any new music after Beyonce’s latest release. “There’s just no way I can fully digest all these new albums. I’m still on Cowboy Carter. http://overstimulated.com” and some Swifties took that personally. “Taylor doesn’t need your streams,” replied one. “And you just happen to tweet about new albums on April 18th when you know very well what’s dropping tomorrow,” responded another.
Some followers jumped to Nicole’s defense. “The responses to this is so weird about Taylor swift bc I immediately thought of all the rap songs/albums that dropped in the past couple weeks. I like her but didn’t think Kayla was talking about her at all lol,” wrote one. “Taylor would be mad disappointed in y’all. She’s not about this,” another said, suggesting that online bullying is not what Swift would want.
As mentioned, Kelce and Nicole dated on and off for five years, but Kelce confirmed that he was single in 2023 (before his whirlwind romance with Swift). “I’m in the free market right now. I’m out there just enjoying life, focused on my profession,” he said in an interview with Pivor.
Barstool Sports alleged that Kelce did not pay for half the bills or their dates when the two were together. The tight end shut down those rumors immediately. “Don’t buy into that s–t,” he said. “I would never say that I was supporting her. She had a very financially stable life and what she was doing in her career.”
“But you’ve got to be crazy if you’d think I would never helped or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food,” he added. “We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about.”
Nicole responded to Barstool Sports’ X (formerly known as Twitter) to debunk this rumor, writing, “Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false.” After their breakup, the model posted a now-deleted Tiktok, “You’re not stupid Kayla. No, I am actually. Thought I’d get wifed after dating for 5 year. That’s 1,825 days.”
