Offset Accidentally Leaked Cardi B’s Pregnancy Hours Before She Filed For Divorce
Congratulations are in order for Cardi B! The “Bongos” rapper just announced that she’s pregnant—and that she’s ending her relationship with her husband Offset.
On August 1, 2024, Cardi B announced that she was expecting her third child and was filing for divorce from Offset. She posted an Instagram post featuring her baby bump with the New York City skyline as a background and wrote, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”

She continued, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
A rep for Cardi B confirmed she filed for divorce from Offset on August 1, 2024 after years of cheating rumors. Cardi is seeking primary custody of their children, and sources close to the matter say that this breakup is the final nail in the coffin. “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” an insider claimed to Page Six. “This is something she wants to do.” She is also seeking full custody of her two children with Offset: Wave Set, 2, and Kulture Kiari, 6.
When is Cardi B’s due date?
Though Cardi B is looking very pregnant in her announcement photo, she hasn’t confirmed when the due date is.
According to TMZ, Offset stirred pregnancy rumors when he was seen with a woman outside of a Las Vegas casino. The Migos rapper went on social media to deny that he was cheating on Cardi B. “People really need to do the research…I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8 month pregnant women wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!,” Offset wrote in The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram.
It was speculated that the woman he was referring to was actually Cardi B, but her reps told TMZ, “Offset is NOT referring to Cardi when he mentioned the pregnancy. Instead, he was referring to the woman he was with in the photo — and we’re told she is 8 months pregnant.” However, the reps also told the site that Cardi was not pregnant at the time, but she has since announced her pregnancy.
