Sixteen years after their late-’90s cult classic “Cruel Intentions,” the movie’s three stars—Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, and Sarah Michelle Gellar—reunited on Thursday in Los Feliz, California. And the reason for this reunion might be the best thing ever: To watch the unauthorized musical parody of their 1999 drama. Yes, it exists.
Best girls’ night of the year!!! #cruelintentions,’ Witherspoon, 39, tweeted. ‘Let’s do this! #CruelIntentionsMusical #90sflashback.’

The trio had such a good time, that Sarah and Selma apparently recreated their infamous kiss from the film.

In case you’ve never seen it (for shame, people), “Cruel Intentions” is a modern teenage adaptation of the 1782 novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and follows rich private school kids in New York City up to no good (read: sex, drugs, and dares.) It also happens to be the movie where Reese met her former husband Ryan Phillipe.

Despite mixed reviews, “Cruel Intentions” bagged $75.9M worldwide at the box office, two direct-to-video sequels, and became the obsession of ’90s kids everywhere.
Seriously—if you haven’t seen it, get to Netflix stat—and watch the film’s most famous closing scene below!
