For some reason, Julia Roberts seems to be living life without realizing other people share her very, very common name, but leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to make her very, very aware.
Last night, the late-night host presented the actress with a video that showed nine other women across the U.S. named Julia Roberts, most of whom were pretty psyched to share how they reap the benefits of having the same name as one of the world’s biggest stars. (One Julia Roberts said she booked a hotel in Palm Springs, California, and scored “the best room in the whole place.” Apparently front desk clerks also don’t realize how common Julia and Roberts are.)
Before meeting her name-twins, the famous J. R. said: “I guess I am self-centered, and it never occurred to me that anybody else would be named Julia Roberts until one day a girl came up to me, and said, ‘Hi, my name is Julia Roberts,’ and I was like, ‘Wow, this is incredible.'”
The ironic part? It’s been reported that Julia was born Julie Roberts, but there was already a working actress with that name when she was first starting out. Watch the cute video below!
