Nominations for the 88th Annual Academy Awards are in! The list of Oscar noms was announced this morning at a press conference in Beverly Hills, with stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Eddie Redmayne, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cate Blanchett getting serious recognition.
DiCaprio’s up against Redmayne, as well as Bryan Cranston (“Trumbo”), Matt Damon (“The Martian”), and Michael Fassbender (“Steve Jobs”) for the coveted Best Actor award. Meanwhile Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlotte Rampling, and Saoirse Ronan are vying for the Best Actress honor.
Tune in to the Oscars to watch all the nominees and this year’s host Chris Rock from 7 p.m. Sunday, February 28, on ABC when the show’s broadcast live from the Dolby Theater. In the meantime, study up on the full list of nominees right here.
