Nightshades Might Be Inflammatory, but Rihanna Doesn’t Give a F*ck
I will admit, I was pretty damn depressed when my beloved Golden State Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Lakers during yesterday’s basketball game at the Staples Center, but there was one beautiful sight throughout the game that consoled me every time the camera panned to it.
That sight would be Rihanna, everyone’s favorite DGAF heroine, as she sat courtside in a sparkling all-white ensemble. Rihanna and the NBA are two of my favorite topics, but what really brought me joy was her leisurely and elegant consumption of french fries, looking like the glorious queen that she is, and obviously enjoying herself very much, nefarious nightshades be damned. In this moment, I do not think I could have loved her more.
What’s that about non-inflammatory diets, Gisele? Were you feeling anxious about the dangers of nightshade vegetables, Tom Brady?
Rihanna does not have time for this kind of nonsense. She does, however, have lots of time to nonchalantly eat french fries, sip a gin and tonic, and also sample cotton candy and popcorn at her leisure.
Here’s to Rihanna—may we all enjoy ourselves as much as she does (and hopefully look as good doing it).
