What better venue to officially re-debut a gigantic engagement ring from your ex-fiancé than a Knicks game? Miley Cyrus popped into Madison Square Garden over the weekend to take in a b-ball game, and she might as well have written “Miley + Liam 4-Ever” across her forehead. The star, who rolled three deep with her mom and sister, accessorized the bling with a bright-blue Kristaps Porzingis jersey and a pair of ripped jeans.
Though the pair pulled the plug on their engagement in late 2013, they have been toying with are-they-or-aren’t-they rumors since December, when Cyrus joined Hemsworth and his family for an Australian vacay. She has also taken to posting photos of herself wearing her engagement ring again on Instagram. But this is the first time she has stepped out with the ring on her finger since she slipped it off after the split.
Though Hemsworth and Cyrus reportedly broke things off because the wild child was just too wild, she hasn’t tamed herself, from the looks of recent ’Grams. (Spread-eagle with sparkles coming out of her crotch, anyone?) After things ended the first time, Cyrus told Barbara Walters that she couldn’t be “herself” around Hemsworth, before telling Men’s Fitness the opposite last November. “You fall in love with who you fall in love with. You can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. I mean, look—we were together five years. I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”
OK, enough talk, can these two just make it official already?
