Gigi Hadid Finally Addresses That ‘Vogue’ Handstand in New BTS Video

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik made young amore look insanely amazing and left a rash of #relationshipgoals in their wake after Vogue released a behind-the-scenes video of their Italian photo shoot today. Though Hadid doesn’t exactly walk viewers through a step-by-step primer of how in the world she pulled off that handstand, she does reveal that she had some trepidation about the move. “I don’t know if I can do a handstand,” she says, clad in a red-and-white checked bikini; in the next shot, she’s perched atop Malik in a pitch-perfect inversion. So — she proves herself wrong. “Look how cool it looks! Oh, my god — that’s crazy!” she says afterward, catching a glimpse of the shot.

Earlier in the vid, Hadid chills in a Marc Jacobs varsity jacket on a a Louis XVI-style settee (not every day you get to say that phrase) while a shirtless Malik peeks out in the background à la Where’s Waldo. Later on, Hadid walks arm-in-arm with Mario Testino, who shot the gorgeous photos. “We could live here together, like, I’ll have that side, and you have that side, and we just have parties,” she says, breathless, wrapped in a red shawl.

Then Hadid and Testino wander off in the direction of a waiting car in the waning light of Naples. “Ciao,” they say, of course. Photo shoot slayed.
