Amy Schumer Says No More Pics with Fans After Being Harassed by One
Amy Schumer took to her Instagram over the weekend to call out an over-the-top obnoxious fan who got in her face and demanded a photo this weekend in Greenville, NC. “I asked him to stop, and he said, No it’s America and we paid for you,” she wrote in the caption of a ’Gram featuring the man in question.
Schumer wrote: “Yes, legally you are allowed to take a picture of me. But I was asking you to stop and saying no. I will not take a picture with people anymore, and it’s because of this dude in Greenville.” The inevitable IG commenter battle ensued, with some calling Schumer a “bully” and others telling her to “ignore the haters.”

She posted to Twitter that same day to thank people for their support, writing, “I know there are bigger problems in the world. But this was not right … I’ll still take pictures with nice people when I choose to if it’s a good time for that. But I don’t owe you anything.”
