Um, Justin Bieber and Johnny Depp Were Exact Look-Alikes as Kids

You know who looked exactly alike as kids? Justin Bieber and Johnny Depp. Seems unlikely, since pretty much the last person you think of when you think of the Biebs is Depp (looks-wise, at least), but Ellen DeGeneres pointed out that the two looked almost uncannily alike as boys, and she’s right. In a clip from her show airing this afternoon, she pulled up pics of the surprising doppelgängers on a screen behind Depp as she plied him with questions, and the results are striking.

“You looked so much like Justin Bieber when you started out. Look at that,” she said. At first, Depp wasn’t convinced. “Don’t you?” DeGeneres said. “You don’t see it.”

“He just looks like he might be a little … cleaner than me,” he said. “Spiritually, I mean.”

“No. No, he’s not,” she assured, and Depp started laughing maniacally. “And I love Justin, he’s my friend,” she said. “But—he’s not.”
