Kylie, Kylie, Kylie. We know you’re young. We know you’re rich. We know you date rappers. We know your brother-in-law is a hip-hop legend. We know you’d do anything for a photo. But must that anything be a gold grill? Yet another grill. How many grills can a girl own? If they weren’t so expensive, they’d be the world’s worst retainers, except they do nothing. Except maybe scare children.

Yes, Kylie Jenner is sporting a new grill. We hoped the last one went the way of her ex Tyga. He, after all, gave her the diamond-encrusted piece (above) for Valentine’s Day. But nope. Kylie can buy her own grill. This one’s gold—rose-gold—all 18 karats of it, and she posted a selfie of herself wearing it earlier this week. No caption, but a grill speaks for itself.

We’d like to call this increasingly common preference a “youthful indiscretion,” but it’s probably more of a delusion that only people in a certain income bracket can have. It’s like a whole other level of putting your money where your mouth is.
