Chrissy Teigen Plots to Upset Twitter by Bringing a Fake Baby to NBA Game

Hilarious prank, guys.
Chrissy Teigen Plots to Bring Fake Baby Courtside at NBA Finals

Chrissy Teigen is so accustomed to unintentionally upsetting the Twitterverse that she’s started taking matters into her own hands, stirring the pot to see if she can incite the wrath of online trolls. So last night, at game one of the NBA finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Oakland, California, she thought she’d try her luck with a little practical joke. “For the second half, I’m gonna pretend that we brought baby Luna courtside,” she said in a Snapchat video, laughing and holding a stuffed animal wrapped in a blanket while the camera quickly panned to a sleeping Luna nearby. “Twitter is gonna get so mad.”

In the next shot, she rocked the “baby” and cooed, “Who wants to go to a basketball game? You do!” revealing the white stuffed animal in her arms. But she didn’t carry her plan out after all, adding another video shortly thereafter captioned, “We couldn’t bring fake baby.”

Though Luna did attend the pre-game rehearsal with Teigen and husband John Legend, who sang the national anthem to kick things off, she stayed behind the scenes for the actual game. Teigen spent time with her at halftime, sharing a snap captioned “Halftime baby time” while reading “Goodnight Moon” to her little one. After the festivities, Teigen posted a little video of herself breastfeeding Luna, with a simple red heart emoji as the only caption. So sweet. You’ll get those Twitter trolls next time, Chrissy! Also, keep scrolling to watch Legend sing the national anthem, because he totally killed it.
