Uh, have you seen Alicia Vikander recently? Us neither. After scoring an Oscar two-ish years ago and making serious headway as a red carpet queen, the 29-year-old actress has more or less disappeared off the Hollywood scene. Maybe it was to polish all the hardware she got in the 2016 awards season. Or maybe it was to shoot the film, “The Light Between Oceans,” with her boyfriend (and bearded hunk) Michael Fassbender. Or maybe it was to train for “American Ninja Warrior”— judging from the insane six-pack she’s been flaunting recently that’s making the Internet go, “DAMN!”
Okay, “American Ninja Warrior” might be a stretch for the Oscar winner, but still, look.at.her.abs! (Zac Efron, who?) While “The Danish Girl” actress isn’t training to jump through death-defying hoops in record time (though, she probably could), Vikander is likely getting extra buff for her role as Lara Croft in the new “Tomb Raider” iteration.
The actress flaunted her ripped bod yesterday as she was vacationing in Ibiza with Fassbender. While Vikander sported a super cute polka dot bikini and wayfarer shades as she sipped bears on a yacht, our eyes drew immediately to her Marvel superhero-esque six-pack. (Captain America? Never heard of him.) Like the Internet does every so often, it exploded and went to Alicia-Vikander-ab heaven.
It’s important to note that, though Vikander looks like she can challenge The Rock in a wrestling match, you don’t need a six-pack to go shirtless or put on a swimsuit. Keep in mind that Vikander has some of the best trainers around buffing her up one of 2018’s biggest action movies, so, unless you’re training for “Lara Croft” too, her workout regimen is likely not for you. Besides, all bodies are summer body-ready, whether they’re Lara Croft-trained or not.
