Between discovering new trends, chasing down street style superstars, and tracking our favorite celebrities, we’ve had one crazier-than-ever New York Fashion Week. But in order to stay on top of our game, and to keep our sanity, we decided to take one day off from show-going to relax and have a little fun at The Chester, where we threw the StyleCaster Social Lounge.
We teamed up with our favorite social media stars to kick off the festivities: Violet Benson of Daddy Issues was our incredible host, and she was on hand all day to share her social media stardom tips; viral artist Baron von Fancy custom-made our photo walls, emblazoned his favorite phrases; and after a morning of healthy juices from Tiny Empire, social star Babe Walker of White Girl Problems brought her coveted White Girl Rosé to throw an afternoon happy hour. All the action was captured in our Polaroid photo booth complete with selfie sticks and giant emoji props.
Our presenting sponsor Sally Hansen helped us transform the outdoor garden into a beauty oasis, where social media mavens, models, editors, and fashion insiders were invited to indulge in braids, massages, Miracle Gel emoji art manicures and Airbrush Legs makeup for Instagram-ready legs. And the guest list was filled with some of social media’s best, including Tinkerbelle the Dog, Brooke Carrie Hill, Angela Lanter of Hello Gorgeous, Sophie Sumner, and so many more.
