Drake is adding to his beef with Kendrick Lamar, or…he’s taking himself out of the narrative. The “God’s Plan” rapper just discussed how he really feels about being in the public eye amid all this drama.

Kendrick fired up the Super Bowl with his five-time Grammy Award-winning song “Not Like Us” which accuses Drake of being a pedophile. The Caesar’s Superdome erupted with roars when Kendrick rapped the lyric, “Probably struck a chord and it’s probably A-minor.” Drake has already addressed the beef in lawsuits filed against his record company Universal Music Group accusing them of defamation and inflating streams for the diss track.

Drake Shares His ‘Personal Feelings’ After His 2 Exes Performed With Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl

Right after the Super Bowl, Drake announced a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR titled $exy $ongs 4 U. And to no one’s surprise, he made several jabs at the whole situation

How did Drake shade Kendrick Lamar in $exy $ongs 4 U?

Drake addressed the beef in the song “Gimme a Hug.” “Drake elimination, fake intimidation/Take a minute, take a deep breath, have a little bit of patience,” he raps in the first couple of verses. “Funny how it’s only b—h n— waiting on the boys obituary.”

Later in the song, he compares himself to Neo in The Matrix. “You Neo in the matrix, these n—– just Nemo in the ocean,” referring to the character who dodges bullets in slow motion to cheat death. Right after the Super Bowl, Drake appeared in his Anita Max Wynn tour in a hoodie covered in smoking bullet holes. “Small fish, making kids feel emotion / Using you for promotion,” Drake continues.

He later alludes to people praying on his downfall—which Kendrick is constantly trying to spearhead. “Funny how it’s only bitch n—- that are waiting on the boy’s obituary / ‘Cause if I die, it’s these n—– that become the sole beneficiary / And what the fuck are they gon’ do with it?”

Drake might have also taken aim at SZA and Kendrick in his song “Brian Steel. “Big page reachin’, done freed up the Slime, oh shit / Broski just hit me, said, ‘Put all the beef on the side, I can’t’ / Mm-mm, I’m heated now, yeah.” SZA was Kendrick’s special guest at the Super Bowl and she was featured in Drake’s song “Slime You Out.” And lest we forget, the Degrassi alum and the “Snooze” singer used to date in their early 20s. We hope Drake works this one out sooner or later because this is getting out of hand.
