It’s been one year and 28 days since Taylor Swift‘s last album The Tortured Poets Department, but who’s counting? Some people have noticed that there was an update to Taylor Swift’s music profiles.

Some music listeners pointed out that they saw a release from Taylor Swift on streaming sites like Tidal and Spotify. “I woke up to a new notification from my music app that “Silent Algorithms” by Taylor Swift just dropped.. the way my jaw dropped instead,” one fan posted. Another person posted, “My TIDAL music player shows “Silent Algorithms” which purports to be a new Taylor Swift album.”

Which brings us to say: No, Taylor Swift did not write nor release an album called Silent Algorithms. If you look closely at the composer credits, the songs are written by a completely different person. The songs might sound like your average Taylor Swift song, but with a hint of AI. And, we know our queen would never do that. The album art even looks like something that won’t show up on Taylor’s discography. To put the cherry on top, the album isn’t even connected to Taylor’s verified profiles.

In other album news, Swifties are anticipating an announcement at the American Music Awards after they theorized some easter eggs on her website. On the Grammy Award-winning singer’s merch page, the site currently features 12 items at 26% off in her store. —The items on the page also spell out “AMAs”, and the AMAs will take place on the 26th of this month.

One fan posted, “the 12 stones in taylor’s earrings at the grammys, 12D’s in her instagram caption, her store spelling out AMAS, 12 items on sale for 26% (the amas are on the 26th), TN capitalizing a caption to spell out AMAS…. guys… THESE ARE EASTER EGGS.”

Taylor Nation also on X about voting for Swift at this year’s AMAs and wrote, “And our town, it looks so sMall from wAy up here.” They also added, “Screamed, ‘vote for the chairman’ at the night sky!” Swift’s team added in the May 6 post. What do all of those spell out? AMAs.

According to hardcore fans, Taylor Swift has requested the 5th and final extension for the use of the trademarks Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) & ‘reputation (Taylor’s Version) earlier this year. She can only use it for another six months before it expires.

Will Taylor Swift make an announcement at the 2025 American Music Awards? Time will only tell, but Taylor if you’re listening, we’re ready!
