Spotify Listening Age
Spotify

It’s the most streamable time of the year! Spotify Wrapped 2025 is finally here, and the streamer has finally unveiled its quirky and shareable features. You might see people share their “listening age” on social media and might be wondering, “What the heck is that!?”

Spotify Wrapped lets you revisit all your listening habits in the past year. Last year, we had Your Music Evolution, where the feature went viral for reading people out with whimsy prompts like Pink Pilates Princess, and the year before, when it gave you a town and city corresponding to your listening habits. (Remember when everyone who listened to Indie music got Vermont?)

This year, Spotify is out with a new feature that tells you your listening age. But how can you access it?

How to Get Spotify Wrapped Listening Age

  1. Access your Spotify Wrapped by opening the app on iOS or Android. (You must be updated to the latest version of Spotify to use it.)
  2. Search Spotify Wrapped in your Search
  3. Scroll down to the slide that starts with “Age is just a number. So don’t take this personally.”
  4. Look at your age and share on social media.
  5. If you scrolled too far, you can see it again in the summary.

What does your Spotify Wrapped Listening age mean?

Your Spotify Wrapped age shows you the age that corresponds to the music you listen to. For example, if you listen to a lot of oldies from the ’60s and ’70s like The Beatles or Fleetwood Mac, you can have a listening age that’s closer to 70. Meanwhile, if you listen to a lot of Gen Z music like PinkPanthress, Huntr/x, or Doja Cat, your listening age could be closer to the early 20s. I got 19 as my listening age. I’m 26 currently, but I do listen to a lot of K-pop. So it totally makes sense!

Don’t worry, your Spotify Wrapped age and your real age don’t necessarily have to correspond with each other. People online can call you an old hag or too young, but one thing is for sure. You have awesome music taste, and you can share that with the world!
