Nickelodeon‘s collaboration with the NFL is back! The brand has partnered with the National Football League to offer an alternate family-friendly viewing option for those who love the beloved cartoons on the Paramount brand.
The partnership first appeared on the Super Bowl LVIII in 2024. The Nickelodeon broadcast of the football championship instantly went viral with it’s wacky Nick-ified graphics and advanced augmented reality. Some might say that it’s actually more entertaining than watching the actual game on regular networks. The NFL Today analyst and CBS Morning co-host Nate Burleson and Nickelodeon’s Dylan Schefter will join along SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star for live commentary.
The Nickelodeon Wild Card Game will show the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Houston Texans. The game will air on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 4:30 p.m. (ET) / 1:30 p.m. (PT).
The Nickelodeon Wild Card Game will air on Nickelodeon, which is available to stream on services like DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Paramount Plus, and Hulu+ With Live TV. DirecTV Stream offers a five-day free trial, and starts at $86.99 per month after the trial ends (with $10 off your first three months). Paramount Plus offers a seven-day trial and starts at $7.99 a month. Fubo offers a seven-day free trial, and starts at $79.99 per month after the trial ends. While Hulu+ With Live TV doesn’t have a free trial, it is cheaper per month than the other options, starting at $81.99 per month and offers plans that include free subscriptions to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus.
