Ever since he was announced as the 2025 lead, Bachelor Nation fans have had one question on their minds: Who does Grant end up with on The Bachelor Season 29?! His winner was revealed by Reality Steve, and fans have mixed feelings.
Grant Ellis, a 31-year-old Day Trader from Newark, New Jersey from Newark, New Jersey, is the lead of The Bachelor Season 29. He was originally a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 21 with Jenn Tran, where he was sent home in Week 7. Grant was announced as the next Bachelor on Good Morning America in August 2024, which made him the second Black Bachelor and sixth Black lead in Bachelor Nation history.
In an interview with Bustle ahead of his Bachelor season’s premiere, Grant teased that the feelings with him dating multiple women throughout his season was a “theme” on Season 29, but not necessarily for his winner.
“One theme of the season is that the women knew how great they were. Everybody in the house got along. Everyone was smart, witty, and beautiful. They knew dating multiple people wasn’t normal, and it would be a hard decision for me,” he said. “Reassurance comes with time, and you have to prove that to somebody through affection and showing them that you’re thinking about them. So I don’t think it’ll be an issue, but if it is, it will heal over time.”
He also confirmed to the site that he had “no regrets” about the decisions he made on The Bachelor, including who he ended up with. “No regrets, only lessons. You have to make decisions in such a short time frame, and the process is sped up, but it’s right up my alley. I would rather have done it this way than the traditional route in the ‘real world,’” he said.

Grant gave his final rose to Juliana Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old Client Service Associate from Newton, Massachusetts, in The Bachelor Season 29 finale in the Dominican Republic, which she accepted, according to Reality Steve.
Grant’s runner-up was Litia Garr, a 31-year-old Venture Capitalist from Soda Springs, Ohio. Juliana received one One-on-One date on The Bachelor Season 29 in Week 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Grant and Juliana got engaged in The Bachelor Season 29 finale after Grant proposed to her at the Final Rose Ceremony, which she said yes to, according to Reality Steve.
In an interview with Bustle in January 2025, Grant confirmed that he was ready to get engaged if he met the right person, but it wasn’t his top priority. “My mentality was that if the connection was there, I was going to propose,” he said. “I haven’t been in lots of relationships. I’ve been in one long-term relationship, and after that ended, I waited for a while to see anybody. So I was ready and went into [the show] intentionally, but I also wanted to make things fun. I didn’t go in with the pressure of getting engaged. If things flow, they flow, and if they don’t, they don’t.”
For Grant’s engagement, it’s almost certain the ring was designed by Neil Lane, a celebrity jeweler, who has created engagement rings for The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise since 2008. In a 2016 interview with Entertainment Weekly, former host Chris Harrison revealed that Bachelor Nation couples have to stay together for a certain amount of time, otherwise they have to return the free engagement ring to Neil Lane. “There’s some rule, after a certain number of years, you get to keep it anyway,” he said. “But after months… it goes back.”
Lane told StyleCaster in 2016 that he doesn’t know where the rings go, but that he designs them with the hope that the couple stays together. “I make rings hoping that people stay together forever, but after they get the ring, I don’t have a say in it, and what happens after that, I don’t know,” he said. “Where the ring goes, I have to say, I don’t really know. I just say it goes to ring heaven.”
