After six seasons on Bravo, fans are about to see a single Brittany Cartwright for the first time when The Valley returns for its second season later this year. But would she date another Bravolebrity?

“I would never say never. I have no idea what I would do, but whoever comes into my life would have to be comfortable with how open my life is, because it is on reality TV,” Brittany tells StyleCaster while promoting Charmin’s Prevent the Dump Campaign. “It would have to be somebody who was comfortable with that type of lifestyle. I don’t really know if I’m attracted to anybody who’s on Bravo right now. I haven’t looked that far into it. I need to meet new people.”

Brittany—who starred on Seasons 4 to 8 of Vanderpump Rules before moving on to The Valley—split from her husband and Bravo co-star, Jax Taylor, in February 2024 after almost five years of marriage. Since their separation, Brittany, who shares son Cruz with Jax, admits that her relationship with her estranged husband has been an “emotional rollercoaster.”

“We’re working hard to co-parent. That’s our most important thing,” she says. “ It’s very difficult at times because there has been a history of 10 years together. We can get upset a lot or we’re best friends sometimes. It’s an emotional roller coaster almost every single day. Tomorrow marks a year since I separated from Jax. It has flown by so fast, but we’re trying our best. Some days are really easy, some days are extremely hard.”

Brittany and Jax’s ups and downs are sure to play a part in Season 2 of The Valley. Brittany also confirms that her former Vanderpump Rules co-stars—Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, and Lala Kent—are also set to make appearances next season. “They’re my actual best friends. They’re in our lives, day in and day out, so it only makes sense because this is a real group of friends that they’re around,” she says. “I love Scheana. I love Lala. Our kids go to school together. Tom, I love him so much, and he’s always been in our lives. They know how to make reality TV.”

As Bravo fans know, The Valley is a spinoff of Vanderpump Rules, which is currently being rebooted with an all-new cast for Season 12. While Brittany doesn’t know exactly who’s in the new cast, she confesses that next season’sSurvers will have “big shoes to fill.” “I’ve heard of a couple of people who might be on the show,” she says. “Hopefully they can bring it like the OGs did. You know, I’m not even an OG. I’m a Season 4 OG. [The OG cast] was amazing, so they’ve got big shoes to fill. Good luck to them.”

As for what she’s looking in her next partner, Brittany confesses that there’s one red flag she has: If someone doesn’t use quality toilet paper like Charmin. “I am starting to date again, and we have to look for all the red flags, all the green flags,” she says. “Everyone knows it starts in the bathroom. If you go to somebody’s house and they’re using TP where you can see your hand through, that can be a very big red flag. I need to pay attention to those things from the get-go. I didn’t do that with my relationship.  Charmin has been around for years and years and years, and they are definitely a premium toilet paper, which iis a green flag.”
