Love is Blind‘s Alex Was Accused of Inappropriate Relationships With Minors in Resurfaced Social Media Posts
It wouldn’t be Love is Blind without some drama. And we don’t even mean show drama, either, though this season still has some of that in the form of Taylor and Daniel’s Instagram conflict. The Netflix reality dating show, has, however, also had its fair share of controversy come up after the cameras stop rolling. One big example is Tyler’s baby drama from last season, which both Ashley and Tyler and Netflix denied at the time.
The show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, focuses on a group of singles who commit to dating in pods without ever seeing each other, and if that weren’t enough, they also agree to propose marriage before they can find out what their prospective partner looks like. That’s pretty much the perfect recipe for drama. It has, ironically, though, also been the perfect recipe for love, with the show boasting a much better rate of couples still together than The Bachelor.

But some of the Season 8 drama is overshadowing whatever’s happening with the show. And one of the latest scandals has to do with a contestant who didn’t even make it out of the pods, despite getting a fair amount of screen time during the first six episodes. What has supposedly happened with Alex After Love is Blind? We break down the allegations.
Alex’s Post-Love Is Blind Allegations Explained
A platform like Love is Blind will always come with people talking about you, for better or worse. And someone people are talking about from Love is Blind Season 8, which was filmed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is Alex Brown. Alex found himself in the middle of a love square on the show, and after his strongest connection Madison Errichiello broke it off with Mason Horacek, everyone expected Alex and Madison to end up together. But ultimately, Alex didn’t feel like the two were ready for that step and they left their separate ways.
With the first six episodes of Love is Blind Season 8 airing, that led people to wonder what Alex was up to now. This is when rumors started surfacing in various Minnesota local groups that Alex had allegedly been buying alcohol for minors, asking inappropriate questions, and inviting them to parties.

One social media user commented on a thread that was shared on Reddit as a screenshot, “Will not be making a video but Alex used to throw parties in his 20s and would invite only high schoolers…was 16/17 underage drinking while he was banging my friend,” while another one added, “Can verify this story, he was best friends with my best friend for a decade and he prefers his girlfriends to ‘dress and act young.’ Yeesh.”
A third one agreed. “This guy was ripped to shreds on local dating [Facebook] groups in Minnesota because he would sell alcohol to minors and then ask for sexual pleasures from them,” they wrote. “Apparently he has dated many and was a narcissist as well. The sweet personality was always his first step. The posts occurred even before he was announced to be on the show. All posts were taken down because he started to get a lot of heat once he was announced at the reunion.”
It’s important to point out that no victim has come forward to identify Brown, though the rumors have been making their way through local groups for a while, with multiple users on different social media platforms claiming they can verify these claims. No more details of when these behaviors occurred or how many underage girls are involved have been revealed.
TikTok user storytimewithrikkii posted a now-deleted TikTok where she claimed that she talked with six women who knew him. The first anonymous woman claimed that he hung out with underaged high schoolers when he was close to 20 and supplied them with alcohol at the basement of his house. Another one was the ex-girlfriend that Alex claimed to have cheated on him the whole entire time, and she claimed that he was manipulative and made her dress a certain way to look younger. She also claimed that he would watch porn with the search term of young. He also made claims about how rape was irrelevant in a utilitarian society for a college essay.
Previous allegations of misconduct on Love Is Blind included contestant Tran Dang alleging that fellow participant Thomas Smith sexually assaulted her during the honeymoon portion of the show in Season 5, Season 6 participant Trevor Sova’s ex accused him of threatening to show revenge porn to her son, as well as sexual assault allegations against Season 7 contestant Bohdan Olinares.
Alex has only spoken about his relationship with Madison after the show and his experience on Love is Blind in general, telling Parade, “I’m really proud of myself and how I went into this experience, and like I said, I was very authentic in how I went about it. I stayed true to myself. I didn’t do anything that I’m not proud of.”
Madison also revealed why she didn’t vibe with Alex afterwards in an interview with People, “What I’m looking for in a partner is someone who’s able to sit in those heavy emotions and not feel uncomfortable by it and not feel like they have to push it away with positivity. And I think I saw that Alex did that often.”
