Love Island All Star‘s Sammy Addressed Rumors He Dated Elma Before Filming the Show
They were the more controversial couples on the show, but Sammy and Elma made the Love Island villa their oyster. The couple had their clear ups and downs, but it seems like things are smooth sailing ahead for their future.
Sammy starred in series 10 of the UK-based reality dating show and won it alongside his ex-girlfriend Jess Harding. Elma, for her part, starred in series 5 of Love Island UK. Over time, the two became incredibly smitten with each other. However, the two would often spur up fights and yell at some of the other cast members. What also captured fans’ eyes was the glaring age gap between the two of them—Elma is 32 while Sammy is 23.

Sammy and Elma ended up in 5th place and before the finale, fans theorized that Sammy and Elma were together before the show was filmed. The two were seen flirting with each other on social media accounts when they were commenting on each other’s pictures, and fans raised their eyebrows when they realized that the chemistry was already there.

Sammy also addressed the rumors that they were already a couple when they were on the island. “Don’t get me wrong, I definitely tried my best but she kept batting me away,” he said. “Me and Elma have never even kissed until the terrace.”
Though there might be a little history before they entered the villa, the two are going to “take things slow” in the real world. Elma said that they want to explore their future “hopefully some time in the future but we’re just enjoying things as they are.”
Elma also added, “I think he’s perfect,” while Sammy said “I’ve never had someone that I’m so attracted to, but also have that fun, best friend feeling with. It’s something I’ve always wanted and I definitely get that with Elma.”
