The Traitors Season 3’s penultimate episode ended on the cliffhanger of cliffhangers as fans waited with bated breath to find out who the last contestant banished at the roundtable was between Danielle Reyes and Ivar Mountbatten.
While who got banished at the last roundtable won’t be known until The Traitors Season 3 finale airs on Thursday, March 6, fans are convinced that Danielle will be sent home over Ivar based on how the penultimate episode ended.
The Traitors Season 3, Episode 10, “The Power of the Seer,” ended on a cliffhanger after a tie between Danielle and Ivar. Danielle, Britney Haynes, and Dolores Catania voted for Ivar, while Ivar Mountbatten, Dylan Efron, and Gabby Windey voted for Danielle. With three votes each, the contestants excluding Danielle and Ivar were asked to re-vote. If the votes were still split, the banished contestant would result in a coin flip.
Before the episode ended, viewers saw five of the six votes. Danielle and Dolores voted for Ivar, while Dylan, Gabby, and Ivar voted for Danielle. Though the episodes ended before Britney revealed her vote, fans are convinced that Britney votes for Danielle and banishes her based on how the episode was edited. “Someone on here made a good point. The cliffhanger is Britney’s vote. If Britney just voted for Ivar again the better cliffhanger would be to not show the “coin toss” result for who gets eliminated,” a TikTok user wrote. Anothe user wrote, “I think if she voted Ivar they would’ve showed it and left the cliffhanger on the 50/50 chance between the two.”

As for why fans speculate that Britney voted for Danielle, users assumed that Britney’s shocked expression at Dolores’ vote for Ivar was a sign that she changed her vote because she didn’t want to be the only vote for Danielle to stay, which would put a target on her back as a traitor. “I think she voted for Danielle since she thought Dolores was going to vote for Danielle and then she was shocked to see she stuck with Ivar.
“I think she voted for Danielle since she thought Dolores was going to vote for Danielle and then she was shocked to see she stuck with Ivar,” a TikTok user wrote. Another user wrote, “I think Brittney voted for Danielle bc she thought Dolores was and didn’t wanna look suspicious being the only one not voting for Danielle.”
One more user wrote, “The shock on Britney’s face after seeing Dolores’ vote sealed it for me. She thought they didn’t have the votes in the four person second round vote so she voted for Danielle to prevent a tie, because no matter what Britney would look bad in a tie since this is the last round table where they announce their role.”
While a majority of fans believe that Britney voted for Danielle and thus banished her, there were others who speculated that Britney stuck to her original vote for Ivar because of her history with Danielle on Big Brother Reindeer Games, in which she blindsided Danielle and was a part of her elimination. “like Britney and Danielle have history, I don’t think Britney would do the same again,” a user wrote.
Others, however, believe that Danielle and Britney’s history is an example of how Britney has turned her back on Danielle before. “She snaked her again. Not surprised at all,” a TikTok user wrote. Another user wrote, “I’m a die hard BB fan. I’m hoping she votes I. But these people are here for money… who knows. if she votes Dani out, she better give her a biggggg thank you first….”
The Traitors streams on Peacock.
