Meg and Mason Love is Blind
Netflix

Warning: Love Is Blind Season 8 spoilers aheadLove Is Blind Season 8 gave us a lot of drama for the couples that decided to continue on the experiment: Daniel possibly following Taylor on Instagram before the show, the TikTok’s about Ben and Lauren and Dave breaking up because Dave couldn’t get over the fact she dated someone casually before the show even started filming. But the show also gave us drama between couples that didn’t even end up together, like Meg and Mason.

The Netflix reality dating show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, follows a group of singles who date in pods without ever seeing each other until after they’ve proposed marriage to their chosen partner. After that, the couple has only a couple of weeks to figure out if they really do want to go ahead with the marriage or if they would rather part ways for good.

Somewhat surprisingly, despite the drama, the show has been pretty successful at bringing couples together that actually stay together. Two couples remain from Season 1, two from Season 3, three from Season 4, and one couple from Season 5, Season 6, and Season 7. The Bachelor wishes they still had that many couples.

The show’s Season 8, set in Minneapolis, Minnesota, gave us 5 engaged couples: Monica and Joey, Taylor and Daniel, Sara and Ben, Lauren and David, and Virginia and Devin. But the first batch of pod episodes also focused on one particular couple who didn’t walk out of the show together, but who seemingly reconnected right after. So, are Meg and Mason together? What really happened between them?

Are Meg and Mason Together From Love Is Blind Season 8?

Meg and Mason’s connection started in the pods, bonding over their shared belief aliens are real and seeming like they truly had the same attitude about life and love. But Mason also had a connection with Madison, and he struggled to pick between the two. Mason finally picked Madison, just as Madison took the choice out of his hands, deciding she only wanted to date Alex, Mason obviously turned around and told Meg she was always his number 1. At that point, however, Meg wasn’t sure if she could believe it and she broke up with Mason.

However, in the recently released Episode 11 of the show, the two showed up at a cast reunion hand in hand, and though Mason called it “hanging out,” there seem to be clues that the two are doing more than that, and that they might even be doing it still.

“So after I left, I was like, I’m not talking to the guy,” Meg told the group after they showed up together. “And then the second I got my phone, I was like, how’s Mason? And then I messaged him.” He’d been looking to, he was just unable to find her. “I’m doing a lot worse now that I know you’re gorgeous,” was his response to her asking how he was. After that they decided to stage their own reveal. And then, well… it seems they became more than friends.

The two of them being together would explain why the Love Is Blind producers decided to feature them so much, particularly since editing decisions are made months after filming. And there are more clues the two might still be together. For example, Season 8 castmate Brittany Dodson posted a carrousel on Instagram sharing some BTS memories from the show. In one of the photos Mason and Meg can be spotted in the corner hugging.

Plus there’s the fact that Alex recently said in The Viall Files Podcast, that the people he spends the most time with are Meg and Mason, bringing them up together. Not to mention the fact that Meg has been liking and replying to positive comments about Mason on Instagram. We will likely not find out until the Love is Blind reunion, which will premiere on Netflix on Sunday, March 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
