Love Is Blind Season 8 is over and done with, and the reunion brought us a few surprises, including a tease for Perfect Match Season 3 that wasn’t so much a tease but an outright spoiler for one particular couple: AD and Ollie. The couple, whose relationship had already pretty much been revealed, was not so much teased by Netflix but confirmed, complete with Ollie going down on one knee and proposing to AD. She, of course, said yes.
What this means for the third season of Perfect Match, we still don’t know. This doesn’t exactly mean the two will win, or even walk out of the house together. The show is wild, after all. But it does mean they will meet up there, at the very least. And that at some point, they will end up together. So, there’s at least one happy ending coming out of the third season of the show. But before that, the two met on the original Netflix reality dating show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, who welcomed them to the reunion stage and congratulated them on the engagement.

Love is Blind focuses on a group of singles in different cities—and countries—who go from dating in pods without ever seeing each other to proposing marriage before they can find out what their prospective partner looks like. It’s a wild premise, but it has a better overall track record than The Bachelor.
AD was a contestant on Season 6 of the US version of Love is Blind, while Ollie appeared on Season 1 of the UK version of Love is Blind. But who were they with on Love is Blind before each other? We examine their respective partners.

AD and Clay got engaged out of the pods on Love is Blind Season 6 and made it all the way to the altar, where it was surprisingly Clay who said no to AD, telling her “This has been the best process. AD, I love you,” but adding, “I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say ‘I do.’ But I want you to know that I’m rockin’ with you.”
From the beginning, however, AD was clear that when Clay said no, it was over for her. “You don’t wanna pick me. Somebody else will. I’m done. My heart is broken.”
During the subsequent Love is Blind reunion, Clay apologized to AD, saying, “She’s honestly the love of my life, and I did make a mistake going to the altar and saying no,” adding that he’s been doing therapy “to be a better person. “It was a big let-down and I apologize. I love you. You are the love of my life and it was a mistake.”
However, the two did not get back together. “You had your chance, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t have given you, there’s nothing I wouldn’t have done for you,” AD told Clay. “And low key, respectfully, you played in my f—— face… because you knew that you didn’t want to get married.” The reunion revealed AD tried to go on a few dates with fellow contestant Matthew, but that had also fizzled out.
Clay hasn’t said anything about Ollie and AD, but he did share someone’s comment on his stories right after the reunion went live which read “Lmao me watching love is blind and a woman just no at the altar. Waiting for the outrage clay_gravesande got. Let’s wait on this one.”

Ollie and Demi got engaged out of the pods, and the two seemed to have very good vibes throughout most of their time together. But, when it came time to make a final decision, Demi said it all.
“I love you. But I do not. I’ve learned to love myself in a whole different light during this journey. And actually, that’s a testament to you Ollie. I know you do love me, and I know you care about me and appreciate me. But I know what I want from my husband, and I don’t think we’re quite there obviously. But it’s not a ‘I do not, I’m going to walk away from you forever.’ It’s a ‘I do not for know.’ Because honestly, in the time we’ve spent, I feel like you’ve seen me. And I love you for that,” she said.
After his breakup with Demi, Ollie went on to date fellow Love is Blind castmate Sharlotte Ritchie, but the two broke up shortly after.
It all led to AD for Ollie, who when he got down on one knee in the video shared by Netflix, said, “You’re my best friend, you’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy as I have since I’ve met you. Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life loving you.”
