Litia, Grant, Juliana on The Bachelor 2025
ABC.

Warning: The Bachelor Season 29 spoilers ahead. After weeks of roses, dates, and tears, The Bachelor Season 29 winner is finally here. But who did Bachelor Grant end up with and give his final rose to? Read on if you want to be spoiled.

Grant Ellis, a 31-year-old Day Trader from Newark, New Jersey from Newark, New Jersey, is the lead of The Bachelor Season 29. He was originally a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 21 with Jenn Tran, where he was sent home in Week 7. Grant was announced as the next Bachelor on Good Morning America in August 2024, which made him the second Black Bachelor and sixth Black lead in Bachelor Nation history.

In an interview with Bustle ahead of his Bachelor season’s premiere, Grant teased that the feelings with him dating multiple women throughout his season was a “theme” on Season 29, but not necessarily for his winner.

“One theme of the season is that the women knew how great they were. Everybody in the house got along. Everyone was smart, witty, and beautiful. They knew dating multiple people wasn’t normal, and it would be a hard decision for me,” he said. “Reassurance comes with time, and you have to prove that to somebody through affection and showing them that you’re thinking about them. So I don’t think it’ll be an issue, but if it is, it will heal over time.”

Who was The Bachelor Season 29 winner?

Grant’s Bachelor winner was Juliana Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old Client Service Associate from Newton, Massachusetts, according to Reality Steve. Grant gave his final rose and proposed to Juliana in The Bachelor Season 29 finale in the Dominican Republic. He also proposed to her and the two got engaged. Grant’s runner-up was Litia Garr, a 31-year-old Venture Capitalist from Star Valley, Wyoming.

Juliana received one One-on-One date on The Bachelor Season 29 in Week 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland, which should’ve been a clue that she would win The Bachelor Season 29. The theme of the date—during which Grant and Juliana went shopping—has been seen on many Bachelor seasons and been nicknamed the Pretty Woman date. Of the most recent Bachelor seasons, two winners have gone on the Pretty Woman date in addition to Juliana: Rachel Kirkconnell on The Bachelor Season 21 with Matt James, and Becca Kufrin on The Bachelor Season 22 with Arie Luyendyk Jr. Hannah Ann Sluss, the winner of The Bachelor Season 24 with Peter Weber, also received a shopping spree as part of winning a group date, though it wasn’t an official Pretty Woman date.

In an interview with Bustle in January 2025, Grant confirmed that he was ready to get engaged if he met the right person, but it wasn’t his top priority. “My mentality was that if the connection was there, I was going to propose,” he said. “I haven’t been in lots of relationships. I’ve been in one long-term relationship, and after that ended, I waited for a while to see anybody. So I was ready and went into [the show] intentionally, but I also wanted to make things fun. I didn’t go in with the pressure of getting engaged. If things flow, they flow, and if they don’t, they don’t.”

For Grant’s engagement, it’s almost certain the ring was designed by Neil Lane, a celebrity jeweler, who has created engagement rings for The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise since 2008. In a 2016 interview with Entertainment Weekly, former host Chris Harrison revealed that Bachelor Nation couples have to stay together for a certain amount of time, otherwise they have to return the free engagement ring to Neil Lane. “There’s some rule, after a certain number of years, you get to keep it anyway,” he said. “But after months… it goes back.”

Lane told StyleCaster in 2016 that he doesn’t know where the rings go, but that he designs them with the hope that the couple stays together. “I make rings hoping that people stay together forever, but after they get the ring, I don’t have a say in it, and what happens after that, I don’t know,” he said. “Where the ring goes, I have to say, I don’t really know. I just say it goes to ring heaven.”
