Jesse on The Valley

First, there was the rumor that Michelle Lally was having an affair with an “A-list” director. Now, a “guy from Baywatch” has become involved in The Valley‘s latest cheating scandal.

The Baywatch rumor was introduced in The Valley Season 2 when Jesse Lally confronted Scheana Shay with a rumor that his girlfriend, Lacy Nicole, was cheating on him with multiple men. “My friend in Orange County [said] she’s been sleeping with other guys?” Jesse asked Scheana on a phone call. “Is that true or false?” Scheana responded, “That is correct verbatim. Even told me specifically who. The guy from Baywatch.”

The rumor came after Michelle confronted Jesse with a claim that Lacy told Scheana herself that she cheated on him. “You want to talk about the random girl you just started dating?” Michelle said. “You know what kind of shit she says to my friends and other people? It’s actually embarrassing and I feel sorry for you. She’s told people — including a friend of mine — that she’s sleeping with other people.”

Who’s the guy from Baywatch mentioned on The Valley?

While Scheana didn’t reveal who the “guy from Baywatch” is, fans suspect the rumor is about David Charvet, a singer and actor who starred as Matt Brody on the Baywatch TV series from Seasons 3 to 6, based on the information that both Lacy and David follow each other on Instagram.

david previously dated his Baywatch co-star, Pamela Anderson, from 1992 to 1994. He was also married to fitness personality Brooke Burke from 2011 to 2018. They finalized their divorce in 2020. The former couple share two children: a daughter named Heaven born in 2007, and a son named Shaya, born in 2008.

While Lacy follows other male Baywatch stars—including David Hasselhoff, who played Mitch Buchannon, and Kelly Slater, who played Jimmy Slade—Charvet is the only one who follows her back. Despite the mystery around who the “guy from Baywatch is,” it seems like the rumor that Jesse’s girlfriend cheated on him may not have had an effect on his relationship.

As of writing, Jesse and Lacy still follow each other on Instagram, which is a positive sign that they’re still together. They also walked the red carpet together in October 2024 at Us Weekly and Pluto TV’s Reality TV Stars of the Year event.

Jesse went public with his relationship with Lacy in an interview with Page Six in May 2024, in which he confirmed that he was “newly” in a relationship. “I’m super happy right now,” he said. He continued, “We’ve been great friends. He’s just a very amazing person and she’s, like, a beautiful soul.”

He went on to note that Lacy “definitely grounds me for sure because she doesn’t let me get away with anything, which is nice.” He continued, “It’s just new. No labels, no nothing. It’s just fun to spend time with somebody again.”

During The Valley Season 2, Michelle clarified that she doesn’t care what Jesse’s girlfriend does, but she doesn’t want their 4-year-old daughter Isabella to get hurt in the process. “We’re both angry,” Michelle said. “She can do whatever she wants. I hope you guys are happy — whatever that is.”

Jesse, for his part, didn’t believe Michelle wasn’t trying to hurt him. “I didn’t cheat on her. I didn’t lie to her,” Jesse said. “Maybe I was a shitty husband but I didn’t hurt her so why is she trying to actively hurt me?”

Jesse previously told Us Weekly on April 10 that he and Michelle have come to agree to disagree on the events that led to their divorce. “Michelle has her own experience, and I have my own experience,” Jesse said. “Words don’t mean as much as when you see what the camera shows. That’s what you should be hearing. It’s only a one-sided narrative. But she has her experience and that’s how she feels.”

Michelle, for her part, also told the magazine that she hopes she and Jesse can find common ground in the future. “All I can do is smile because I always wish that one day we will get to that place. I don’t know if it will ever happen,” she said. “That is my hope because I do love my daughter and I want her to see two happy parents. So all I can do is play my role in being positive.”
