Don’t count on The Bachelor‘s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson walking down the aisle anytime soon. The couple, who met on The Bachelor in 2024, have postponed their wedding date a year after they got engaged in the Season 28 finale.
Kelsey revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated in May 2025 that she and Joey had rescheduled their wedding date from spring 2026to spring 2027 due to their busy schedules. “I definitely want our wedding to be pretty timeless,” she shares. “I want it to be able, in 30 or 40 years, to look like it could be done then,” she said. “We really don’t want to be stressed. We don’t want to just throw things together.”

As for the wedding itself, Kelsey added that she wants Joey involved with the planning as much as she is. “I want the wedding to be a part of both of us. I know a lot of times the guys kind of let the lady take over, but I don’t know [about that]. I want it to be a representation of both of us equally,” she said.
Joey previously told the “Cozy in the Closet” podcast in April 2025 that he and Kelsey always planned to have a long engagement because of how they met. “We didn’t want to rush anything because as you know The Bachelor is a very, very quick timeline and we’re gonna have a two to three-year engagement to make sure that we are seeing everything through and learning as much about each other before we take that next step,” he said.
At the time, Joey also told podcast hosts Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd that he and Kelsey were starting to kind of nail down when we want to, you know, figure out a date [and] where we actually want to have our wedding,” including other goals, like when they want to start a family.

“We both said that we wanted to at least enjoy marriage a little bit before we have kids,” he said.
Joey and Kelsey met on The Bachelor Season 28, where Joey was the lead. Joey was previously the runner-up on The Bachelorette Season 20 with Charity Lawson. Joey and Kelsey got engaged in The Bachelor Season 28 finale after Joey eliminated his runner-up, Daisy Kent, and gave his final rose and proposed to Kelsey. Following their engagement, Joey went on to compete on—and win—Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars with professional dancer Jenna Johnson.
“I always knew that Joey was a sweet, kind man,” Kelsey told Sports Illustrated of how her and Kelsey’s relationship has evolved. “But I feel like his goofiness has really come out more post-show and the more that we get to know each other.”
