He’s a self-proclaimed “short king,” but how tall is Ace from Love Island USA Season 7? There’s some misinformation around how tall he is, but fans think they’ve locked down his exact height.

What’s Ace’s height from Love Island USA Season 7?

Ace claimed that he was 5’10” tall in a fight with castmate Austin Shephard during the “Stand on Business” challenge in the July 1, 2025, episode of Love Island USA Season 7. “One of us — out of the two — is 6’5 and one of us is 5’10 and has the balls to say some shit around here because I have some heart,” Ace told Austin, referring to their respective heights. “You don’t.”

In an Instagram comment days after the episode aired, Austin—who was eliminated from Love Island USA in the July 3, 2025, episode—seemingly accused Ace of lying about his height when asked by a fan in a TikTok comment to “confirm or deny” Ace’s claim that he’s 5’10”. “5’6 on a good day,” Austin responded. He also liked several comments making fun of Ace’s height.

Ace referred to himself as a “short king” in his introduction video for Love Island USA Season 7. “I’m a short king,” he said. “I have no problem talking to taller ladies, but I’m not being no damn little spoon.”

Ace also referenced his height in his DJ name for a Love Island USA Instagram post, in which he named himself “DJ Lil Kneecaps.” While some reports claim that he’s 4’10, those reports likely mistook his height for his cast member Yulissa Escobar, who stated in her introduction video that she was 4’10.

Compared to his Love Island USA castmates, Ace was famous before his debut in Season 7. He ran a TikTok account with more than 1 million followers, where he taught people how to dance. (His Instagram account, for its part, had more than 700,000 followers at the time Love Island USA premiered.)

Ace has also appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and was interviewed by People magazine after he covered his whole leg with tattoos depicting his six siblings.

“Honestly, I love my siblings to death,” he told People in April 2025 after he went viral for the act. “My family is the closest thing I have around me, and I always want to keep them around me. I feel like getting their portraits on me would be the perfect thing.”

Ace also told the magazine that the idea to tattoo his family on his leg dated back to his high school days. “Like my freshman year,” he said. “It’s been a while, so I’ve always wanted to see this come to life.”

Ace went viral for the tattoos in March 2025 when he shared a TikTok video of the process and how his siblings reacted. As of writing, the video has accumulated more than 1.5 million likes.

“I used baby pictures because these are the pictures from when I first met them,” he told People. “My youngest sibling has a goofy personality, so I picked his most goofy-looking picture. Another sibling was obsessed with pacifiers, so I included a photo with him holding one.”

He also explained to the magazine that the process took 26 hours to complete over multiple sessions. “I’d rather just sit through the tattoo appointment and take it because I know the artwork is going to be worth it long term,” he said.

He also confirmed to the magazine that his tattoo has since brought him and his siblings closer. “I remember when I was very little, I told my siblings I would get their faces tattooed one day, and they never believed me,” he said. “So when they saw this, I got a lot more calls from my sisters.” He continued, “Whenever I have a very memorable moment in my life, I like to get a tattoo.”

Ace was one of 10 original contestants on Love Island USA Season 7, along with Austin Shepard, Isabelle-Anne Walker, Chelley Bissainthe, Huda Mustafa, Jeremiah Brown, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Olandria Carthen, Taylor Williams, and Yulissa Escobar. He coupled up with Yulissa on Day 1.

Love Island USA streams on Peacock.
