Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa’s baby’s father is standing by his ex amid backlash from fans. Huda, a 24-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, was one of 10 original islanders on Love Island USA Season 7.
She coupled up with Jeremiah Brown, a 25-year-old from Seattle, Washington, on Day 1, and the two remained together until Day 11 when America voted for Jalen to couple up with new bombshell Iris Kendall, a 25-year-old from Los Angeles, California. The vote left Huda single and almost eliminated in a vote by her fellow islanders.

The moment also led to even more backlash against Huda, who has been criticized for her controlling behavior on Love Island USA Season 7, from fans who have slammed her treatment of Iris and Jeremiah after America’s vote coupled them up. Now, Huda’s baby’s father is speaking out.
The father of Huda’s daughter, Arleigh, is a man named Noah Sheline. Huda and Noah welcomed their child on July 15, 2020, which means that Arleigh was four years old going on five when Huda joined the cast of Love Island USA Season 7.
According to his Linkedin, Noah was a student at the Career Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2022. His Instagram also shows him in military gear. He also graduated from Berrien Springs High School in Michigan, where he was a member of the track team, and is a fan of sports teams like Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Lions, according to his Instagram.

After Jeremiah coupled up with Iris and Huda was almost dumped on Love Island USA Season 7, Noah shared an Instagram Story defending his ex from backlash for her behavior. “At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” he wrote. “Her going that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life. A lot of you it seems like all can do is scour her for videos or mine and post rude things and comment worse. For one go walk outside or something that’s gotta be unhealthy. Not to mention yall finding my page.”
He continued, “She’s maybe not doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative shit on my page or even clips of it about her. It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughters maybe in the future. So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Our of respect for our daughter.”
Noah went on to confirm that, while he doesn’t plan on reconciling his romantic relationship with Huda, he still cares about her as a person. “It doesn’t much bother me when people talk shit about me I know they don’t know me or how I am as a father, but I’m worried. I’m a coparent and while I don’t want to get back with huda I do care about her as the mother of my child and I would just ask for people to leave the negative shit aside,” he wrote. “#doitforarleigh you don’t have to do it for any other reason if she makes you that mad. It’s crazy I have to involve myself in this but I don’t want my daughters mom to get out and see this and her mental health goes down a hill.”
He continued, “For the people who have been respectful and nice and defending her as a mother, thank you! She tries just as much as any other young parent in this world.”

Noah ended his post by confirming that he has no interest in appearing on Love Island USA Season 7 as a bombshell after fans called for him to be a part of Casa Amor. “Not sure what else to say, or if I’m talking to a wall of social media. I just ask people to be nice. It’s a tv show. Y’all are watching people date I don’t think it’s that serious to put someone down a hole of bullying,” he wrote. “Regardless of how ridiculous she might be or seem. Thanks for reading. Even though people won’t ask idc if you spread this.”
He concluded, “Just to clarify I don’t watch the show. I don’t want to get back with her. I’m not gonna go on that show if they asked. All the other questions don’t be weird, stop assumin things if you don’t know me or her it makes you seem dumb, about 90% are totally off on the negative stuff you comment about me. I can only imagine her page.”
Following the backlash against Huda, fans also reminded other viewers about the Love Island alums who committed suicide after leaving the show. Sophie Gradon, who starred on Love Island UK Season 2, died by suicide after taking cocaine and alcohol on June 20, 2018. She was 32 years old. Sophie’s boyfriend, who found her body, also died by suicide 20 days after her death.
Mike Thalassitis, who starred on Love Island UK Season 3, died by suicide on March 15, 2019. He was found hanging in a park in Edmonton, London. He was 26 years old. Caroline Flack, a host on Love Island UK, was found dead in her home in North East London on February 15, 2020. She was 40 years old. A coroner’s inquest also recorded a verdict of suicide.
