Big Brother 27‘s Mystery Houseguest All But Confirmed to Be This ‘Polarizing’ Alum—See the Signs That Point to [Spoiler]
Big Brother is back and Season 27 already has a twist that’s putting fans at the edge of their seats. The CBS reality show announced that there would be a mystery guest that would arrive on the season premiere.
Since the announcement, the Big Brother social media accounts have been dropping clues non-stop, leaving fans to keep guessing who it could be. Julie Chen Moonves raved about the mystery player in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “When I was told who this person is, I had to expect the unexpected!” she said. “I never expected that person. And I was very excited because, in my opinion, getting that person is epic. And that person is also very polarizing. So there’s going to be a strong reaction in both directions for this mystery houseguest.”
The concept for this season is a murder mystery, splitting the teams into two. The longtime host even hinted that this mystery player will “wreak havoc in ways that we’ve never seen before. And I would say on a deeper level. Much deeper. It’s more three dimensional.”
Who’s the Big Brother 27 Mystery Houseguest?
There are a bunch of names thrown into the pot, but these three Big Brother alums stood out.
Rachel Reilly
The most popular pick, handsdown, of who the mystery guest is would be none other than Rachel Reilly. She already made two appearances on the reality show, and won season 13, but she could be back for more. What gave it away for fans was a license plate that had the dates of July 2011.
Janelle Pierzina fueled the rumor mill by posting on X about how Rachel wasn’t responding to her calls and figured that she was sequestered in the Big Brother house. she posted, “Dude, I’ve called Rachel’s phone 10 times to chat about our next BB Cruise and it goes right to voicemail. Did she seriously not tell me that she’s going back into the Big Brother house?!??! That woman tells me everything!!”
She followed it up with, “She [texted] me back saying she was at home. But I got to thinking. Rachel always calls me back. And [her husband Brendon Villegas] could be texting from a laptop responding to her texts.”
It seems like it might have been a cover up but Rachel took to Instagram reels to react. “When Janelle keeps calling but I’m literally in Greece,” she posted on the social media site. But who knows? Could be another cover up and Brandon’s behind her socials! The couple announced they’re going live on Instagram after the finale, but what is the truth?
Angela Murray
Angela Murray seems to be next big pick when it comes to the Big Brother 27 mystery houseguest. She made waves with her erratic behavior in Season 26, so those reaction that came from the houseguests could explain how shocked they were. One fan theorized that she was sequestered when they noticed something. “angela’s last completed cameo was monday, is it possible she is in sequester and is the mystery houseguest? #BB27,” one fan wrote on X.
Cody Caliafore
Janelle also raised the point that Cody could be a contender as the mystery guest. “Has anyone heard from Cody Calafiore? Is his podcast still active?, ” she wrote on X. “My guess is that it’s Vanessa or Cody. That’s based on the clues. Hitman hats. And then the number 17 for Vanessa, as well as the giant V in the study on the Big Brother instagram page.” While Cody might not be on top of his podcast, he did post a TikTok the day before the Big Brother premiere.
