Are Nic & Olandria Still Together From Love Island USA? The Big Reunion Update

Nicolandria fans have been shipping them from Day 1, but are Nic and Olandria still together from Love Island USA Season 7? Here’s whether his ex, Cierra, supports their relationship.
Nicolas “Nic” Vansteenberghe, a 24-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, and Olandria Carthen, a 27-year-old from Decatur, Alabama, were both original islanders on Love Island USA Season 7. Despite entering the villa on Day 1, they coupled up for the first time on Day 16 after their strongest connections with their previous partners, Cierra Ortega and Taylor Williams, ended.

Olandria’s relationship with Taylor, whom she was coupled up with since Day 1, ended during Casa Amor after Taylor chose to couple up with Casa Amor bombshell, Clarke Carraway, whom he left the villa with with on Day 28. Nic’s relationship with Cierra, however, ended after Cierra was removed from Love Island USA Season 7 on Day 26 after social media posts of Cierra using a racial slur surfaced online, which led Olandria and Nic to couple up on Day 26. The two had previously coupled up on Day 16 after they were both eliminated during Casa Amor, but were thrown a lifeline by Love Island USA to either couple up or leave the show. While they tried to make their relationship work, their feelings for their previous connections, Cierra and Taylor, got in the way, and they agreed to stay friends.
That was, until Cierra was removed from Love Island USA Season 7 and Nic and Olandria—who have been nicknamed Nicolandria by the public—tried again. And this time, their relationship seemed to stick. But is Nicolandria still together from Love Island USA Season 7? Read on for what we know.
Are Nic and Olandria still together from Love Island USA?
Nic and Olandria confirmed they were still together in an interview with Us Weekly after the Love Island USA Season 7 finale, in which Nic denied claims he “jumped” from his relationship with Cierra to Olandria. “It seemed like I was jumping from Cierra to Olandria, which is just not true. We were taking baby steps because we were both kind of having those strong connections,” he said. “It took longer than maybe what was perceived. We definitely took things at our own pace.”
When asked if he had reached out to Cierra, Nic confirmed he hadn’t at the time. “I’m still processing everything with what’s happening. I need more time to think on it and go from there because it’s been it’s only been what a day?” he said.
Nic and Olandria also confirmed they hadn’t put a label on their relationship, but were committed to each other. “It’s something that we haven’t labeled yet. We’re going at the comfortable pace that we want to go at. When we look at the grand scheme of things, we’re just taking our time and investing in the real world and enjoying each other’s company,” Nic said. “We’re just chilling in bed together now and we are going to Disneyland later.” Olandria added, “Nic is definitely feeding our supporters [with content]. They love him. He’s consistent. I need to learn from him.”
They also have the support of Nic’s family who have named Olandria as their pick for him from the start of Season 7. “I felt a spark with him and Olandria initially. I felt like they had this passionate thing between them and I like her because she’s got a good head on her shoulders and she’s very authentic. She’s solid. And she’s beautiful. Jesus, I’m so jealous of her body,” Nic’s mom said in a TikTok, as his sister, Ella, added, “We love her.” His mom continued, “I don’t really feel like they’re making the connection every episode, but I would love to see it.”
Nic’s sister also shared a video on social media of Nic’s mom and dad cheering after he coupled up with Olandria for the second time. Both Nic and Olandria’s families also confirmed their support of them as a couple during Family Day.
Cierra also supported Nic and Olandria after she liked an Instagram post shared by Nic’s family of the couple with the caption: “And so it was written in the stars.” Cierra also confirmed her support of Nic and Olandria in a TikTok comment at the time. “For #nicolandria nation…they are two people I care deeply for and absolutely adore. I’ve always wanted nothing but happiness for each of them in this experience. that has never & will never change.” Cierra also seemingly hinted that she was open to reuniting with Nic after commenting on another post of him and Olandria on Love Island USA Season 7. “what’s meant to be will always be,” she wrote with a heart emoji.
Right before the reunion, Nic and Olandria posted very cute photos of themselves on Instagram. “Main Topic”, they wrote in the caption.
