Are Alison & Conor Still Together After Building the Band? What Happened Ever Since He ‘Betrayed’ His Bandmates
What’s a singing competition without a little showmance? Alison and Conor had sparks flying around them on their time on Building the Band, but did that connection last?
Alison and Conor were two of the 50 contestants on Building the Band. They made it to the stage where they were organized in their respective groups: Alison with Sweet Seduction and Conor with Midnight ‘Til Morning. While the bands were rehearsing for their performances, Alison and Conor developed a deep connection and had some cheeky dates while living in the apartments.

In episode 6, Conor tells his bandmates, “I had a very lovely night. We spent a lot of time talking about our emotions. We may have kissed. We went to bed at 5 am.” While his bandmates were happy for him, they emphasized that they really needed him to focus on the band. Their performance of “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls was not up to standards by the group and they were at risk of elimination. Mason blamed Conor and asked him not to hang out. Shane said about the moment, “I feel betrayed by someone I thought was my brother.”
Conor later threatened to leave the band. “I get where you’re coming from of course. But from the get-go, it was one of those situations that was so deep and I have no regrets with how I acted.” He added, “With all that’s happened, me continuing this, there’s always going to be tension. I don’t think I can continue on.”
However, he came to his senses and apologized, “I’m really sorry, if you’re still willing to have the old Conor, I’ll chill out,” he said. “It’s a very good feeling that you boys are willing to look past that. I shouldn’t have been like, focusing my time on Alison. It was almost like a brainwash.”
Are Alison & Conor Still Together From Building the Band?
Alison and Conor are not together. Tudum reported that the two are not romantically involved with each other. After the show, they went on a trip to Paris together (not known if it was platonically or romantically), but nonetheless they had stayed friends. They still follow each other on Instagram.
While Sweet Seduction might not be making music together anymore, Midnight ‘Til Morning is still going strong. “We want to write music that makes people feel seen,” Conor revealed to Tudum, adding that the band had been making music ever since the show wrapped filming. “We want songs that people are going to use at their weddings and their birthdays and their funerals. We want to create something that’s immortal.”
