They’re going to be pop’s next big thing. 3Quency took the hearts of the Building the Band judges, and now they’re ready to take over the world with their smooth vocals and stunning moves.

While in the booths, Nori Moore, Wennely Quezada and Brianna Mazzola had immediate chemistry bonding with each other. The group was hesitant to add in Bri Gilyard into the group and persisted on their way as a trio like Destiny’s Child or TLC.

“I honestly think there’s a few people in the pop industry that should be a little bit afraid of them right now,” guest judge Liam Payne said in the finale. The group took home the $500,000 prize money and proved that they’re the best among the six groups that competed. For their final song, they performed Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby.”

So, what has the three-piece been up to since they wrapped filming on Building the Band?

Is 3Quency Still Together?

Yes, 3Quency are absolutely still together and they’re ready for the world to see what they’re brewing up.

“What’s coming next for us is definitely nothing regular. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s empowering,” Brianna shared to Tudum. “Every week on the show, we were keen on making sure each performance outdid the one before. Let’s show them something completely different — different wardrobe, different creative, different visuals, different vocals. We just constantly wanted to reinvent ourselves, and what’s coming next for us is also a reinvention.”

She elaborated more to Vulture that their plans are already laid out. “Ooh, we’ve been plotting and scheming,” she said. “We’ve been traveling, going to different studios, working with different producers, trying to really hone the sound of the group. A lot of this past year has been development for us.”

As for what genre to expect of the group, they said that they’ll take it to the basics. “All of us love the pop and R&B pocket, so anything in that genre,” Wennely said. “We love to make you dance, we love to give women empowerment — and also take it slow and give you a nice ballad. We do both.”

As for whether they’re still in contact with Bri, they all said that they were, and Nori Royale said that there “ain’t no beef” between any of them.
