They got the voice, and they definitely got the moves too. Soulidified…ahem Iconyx made a mark on Building the Band, and now their brotherhood is tested in the real world.
The group, consisting of Bradley, Shade, Landon, Malik, had a tight bond once leaving the booths and singing Bruno Mars’ finesse with their effervescent soul. They emerged as Soulidified, but it was Liam Payne who recommended that the group change their name before the finale. “We loved Soulidified because it represented us well,” Landon told Tudum. But Onyx is an unbreakable gem and we have an unbreakable bond. And, of course, we want to be icons. Our goal is to get to that level where people look back and go, ‘Man, they were really iconic.’ ”
Even though they didn’t win, Liam Payne gave sage advice that they won a friendship that will last for life. But did it really once cameras stopped rolling?

Iconyx is still together and is planning to make music together, granted that location doesn’t get in their way. “On the show, we are in an apartment [and] everything’s taken care of. But when you’re just taking the chance on your own … it’s a lot more serious,” Bradley told Tudum.
The singers are helming their own music together, but they’re ready to assemble once more. “We each have our own solo thing going, but given the show and how big of an opportunity this is, we’re like, ‘Let’s get our shit together, let’s make some records,’ ” says Landon. “We already have some crazy songs. We want to give people a show. We’re ready to hop on tour. We’re ready for anything.”
They might even release new music soon. “We want the fans to decide,” Landon said. We’re going to be reading up on what people want. If people are like, ‘We need an album,’ then we’re going to give it to them.”
